It’s hard to see school supplies on the store shelves already, yes it’s almost that time again! Back-to-School time means our annual Backpack ‘n Binders Drive – this year to once again benefit Tillie’s Touch. Since the inception of the organization in 2009, Tillie’s Touch has found that there is a strong need for school supplies that some families in the area just cannot afford. Here’s the founder of Tillie’s Touch, Dale Johnson, to share the story of need and how kids appreciate – and excel – as a result of the kindness from our community.

What To Do Next To Help Out

Between July 25th-August 30th drop off your new backpack and/or binders or cash donation to any Seneca Savings branch location in Baldwinsville, North Syracuse, Liverpool or Bridgeport. We’ll ensure that all backpacks and binders get to Dale and his organization in time for the new school year! Cash donations also are welcomed as Dale and his team can purchase volume supplies at a discount!

So if you open an account, you (could) donate your backpack to our drive! Thank You for your support of our efforts! And brightening a child’s day to help get them off on the right foot this school year!
