06/12/2017: VISA Fraud Control and Investigation Alert
Dear Valued Seneca Savings Customer:
We received notice from VISA Fraud Control and Investigations that some of our customers may have been subject to a potential network intrusion at K-Mart that may have put their Visa Check Card at risk.
We have taken several precautions to protect you, our customer, from fraudulent activity and possible losses on your card:
Our Fraud Center is monitoring your card activity. If they notice any unusual activity they will call you. If you are unavailable and a message is left, please call the number given instead of our main office number, this will allow the Fraud Center to access your case directly.
Take control of your card – download our new CardValet® app. You can turn off your debit card when not in use, set alerts, or set limits please see the enclosed brochure for more information on how you can protect your account with CardValet®.
Seneca Savings has ordered a replacement Visa Check Card. It should arrive in about 7-10 business days. Your current Seneca Savings Visa Check Card will remain active until you activate your new card.
If you wish your card to be closed immediately, please call (800)554-8969. If you would like to monitor your account, Seneca Savings offers Online Banking and Telephone Banking. Please log in to enroll or call our telephone banking at (855) 638-0233 to access your account. If you notice anything suspicious on your account, please notify us as soon as possible at (315) 638-0233.
Please remember to contact any merchants that automatically charge your account on a pre-arranged basis to give them your new Visa Check Card information when you receive your new card.
